The Global Consciousness Project, in operation since 1997, has 70 nodes that collect 200 random numbers per second.

  1. decide that some event has the potential to engage large numbers of people.
  2. specify the beginning and end of the “event” and the statistic we will use to evaluate it in our hypothesis registry. 3) After 1 & 2 we extract the data and do an analysis to find out if the data have structure correlated with the event.
