Special cases of GraphEditingSoftware found on other pages:
List of software (open-source)
- Dotty: part of the GraphViz distribution. Very basic (although maybe not immediately intuitive; I had to look at the manual to figure out how to use it). Has an interface to Lefty, so that you can programmatically alter your graph.
- Tintfu: Graph editor. GraphViz import/export. It crashed when I imported a fairly complicated GraphViz file.
- JGraph: This is a Java Swing editable graph component. It has an example application called "graph editor" but not knowing java I couldn't figure out how to make it run. I think it's supposed to be GraphViz compatible, but I'm not sure.
Whatever that means.
- Niche is for super-large graphs
The appendices in Practical Experiences in Graph-Based Testing have a great listing of different graph software, libraries, and languages.
Hey, maybe we could use ANGLE for the CyberneticRoadmap?.
