HumanistMovement

The HumanistMovement (NewHumanim?, NewHumanistMovement?) started in 1969 in Argentina and Chile around the words of Mario Luis Rodriguez Cobos (pen name: Silo).

We're working to create a UniversalHumanNation?, a world where the human being is the central value (money being the primary value of the system today, also power, politics, violence, etc.).

The HumanistMovement has no board of directors, no headquarters, no staff and no budget. It's a highly organized all-volunteer network of over 1 million volunteers in over 100 countries.

TedErnst has written a lot on this elsewhere, nowhere really in an organized way. Please see http://www.omidyar.net/group/hm/ws and http://chicagohumanist.org for more, or ask questions here and we can flesh things out here.
